(HAGERSTOWN, MD — May 25, 2017)
VerStandig Broadcasting’s 101.5 Bob Rock’s presented a check for over $2,200 to Mike Craycraft of the Testicular Cancer Society. Money for the donation was raised through the “2nd Annual Rock Your Balls Golf Tournament” held at Hagerstown Greens at Hamilton Run on May 6. The event was held to create awareness during April for Testicular Cancer month.
“Thanks again to 101.5 Bob Rocks, the participants, and sponsors for the awareness they’ve helped create with this event,” said Craycraft.
Participants were challenged to 18 holes with opportunities to take home several prizes including a car donated by Hamilton Nissan, a golf prize pack donated by Maryland Lottery and a trip to Cancun donated by Lust Gentlemen’s Club.
“The number of players doubled this year compared to the first tournament which was really exciting. We’re hoping to have enough participants to create a morning and afternoon tournament next year,” said Bob Rock Promotions Director Stacey Haynes.
The title sponsor was Hafer’s Gunsmithing with lunch sponsored by Break Away II Sports Lounge. Other event sponsors included: Middletown Valley Bank, Albright, Crumbacker, Moul & Itell, Lancaster County Career and Tech, Twiggs Cycle, Toys for Tots, Keeler Chiropractic, Shiley Acres and Hollie Hall with Mary Kay.
