(HAGERSTOWN, MD – August 17, 2016)
VerStandig Broadcasting and the Franklin County District Attorney’s Office will host the first annual Home Run Derby to Fight Drug Addiction on August 27, 2016. The event will be held at Greene Township Park, 996 Elevator Street, Scotland, PA. Registration opens at 10am and the derby will begin at 11am.
The event is open to all ages and the cost is $10 to participate. All of the proceeds will be donated to Noah’s House, a new recovery house in Chambersburg, PA. The recipient of the funds raised each year will rotate based on community need.
Scheduled rain date is Sunday, August 28.
