Joy El Hires Administrative Assistant for Bible Adventure/CIA Program
Joy El announces the recent hiring of Jodi Shenk as the Bible Adventure Administrative Assistant. In her new role, Shenk will provide administrative support and organization for the 92 Bible Adventure and CIA programs.
“Jodi has demonstrated a commitment to Joy El’s mission. She has a rich history with Joy El enabling her to jump right in and help us serve children well,” says Aaron E. Ziebarth, Executive Director of Joy El.
Shenk is a native of Franklin County and has a very rich history with Joy El, dating back to when she was a child.
Shenk was a student in the Released Time Bible Program (now called Bible Adventure) and summer camping programs when she was in elementary school. In her junior high and high school years, she was involved in the Living Miracles, Leaders in Training (L.I.T.) Program (now called the 4.12 Leadership Training Program) and the Sonrise Players, the drama club at Joy El.
“I am very grateful to have the opportunity to give back to the ministry that help me make my relationship with God my own,” Shenk states.
Since her husband, Donald Shenk, started serving at Joy El, she has volunteered in a variety of ways, including the office, facility upkeep, and housekeeping.
Joy El provides the Bible Adventure program, CIA Program, the 4.12 Leadership Training program, summer camps, and year-round retreats.
